You should have some old Ford Fiesta front uprights that need to have the old bearings removed.
Remove the hub nut. It has a very high torque value and will be a right sod to remove. So have a long gas pipe or similar to hand on the end of your crack bar
Note that the hub may have left and right hand threads for each side. The nut may have yellow, white or blue nylocs indicating a left or right hand thread. Make sure you don't get them mixed up.
Drift out the old bearings, fit new ones with the correct seals and then torque the nut to 160nm.
Most torque wrenches don't go that far so you will need to borrow or invest in a larger capacity wrench.
If you haven't powder coated the upright, then paint it in your favourite colour.
Mine is a rather fetching shade of blue.
The wheel studs will need replacing. Hammer out the old ones and drift in the new longer studs. Make sure they are long enough for the full depth of the wheel nut to go on when the disc and wheel are fitted.
Now assemble the suspension.
Fit the black plastic bushes and the steel centre bushes as per the manual.
The steel bush needs to protrude around 0.5mm to 0.75mm proud of the plastic bush.
When clamped in the chassis bracket, there must be clearance between the black plastic bush and the chassis bracket. The movement of the wishbone arms will feel a bit stiff due to the close fit of the steel bush, but if there is restricted movement, check the gap between the black plastic bush and the chassis bracket. You should get a two and a half thou feeler gauge in. If not you'll need to get some thinner bushes or file some high spots off the swing arm where the bush seats, perhaps remove some powder coating but don't leave any bare metal showing.
Assembly is straight forward as per the manual. The top mount that screws into the wishbone should have 3-5 threads left showing. This will give an approximation of the camber until it is set up correctly later. Here the track rod ends are fitted with the little triangle facing forward. It could be they need to be swapped over left to right but not sure what the difference is so I'll leave as is unless I get any issue with them.
