Clutch
I have converted the cable clutch to be hydraulic.
There are a couple of companies that supply small pull type clutch slave cylinders for ATVs, dirt bikes etc.

Wilwood do a pull type cylinder but it is way too big, being designed for a car.
The original 'P' clamp can be used where the cable used to fit.
Note there is no bleed nipple but the 10mm banjo bolt can be changed for a type that has a bleed nipple.
The clutch flexi hose is wrapped in split sleeving, fed through the cockpit (protected in an aluminium tube) and enetrs the engine bay through the hole for dipstick access. This is where the slave cylinder will be when the engine is fitted.
And here it is in place with a banjo bolt
that has a bleed nipple incorporated.
Gear change cable
As supplied by ARL. It is a push/pull cable.

It needs a bracket welded or bolted (I did both) to the chassis in the engine bay.
Either create a wedge shape and fix the bracket at the correct angle so the cable points at the gear change lever, or just weld it straight on to the chassis bar after reshaping the bracket so the correct angle is achieved.
The gear change lever and the cable will need adjustment to get the correct angle and setting so all gears can be selected.
