ARL supplied a little pod in carbon fibre effect that sits around the steering column.

After drilling a suitable sized hole, I have fixed a commonly available pipe bracket to the rear of the pod by drilling four holes through to mount up against the back of the pod.

Be careful of positioning as the bracket needs then to clamp around the steering column.

Now mounted on the steering column. You will need to adjust the exact position when the bodywork goes on.

We have a DigeDash-2 unit mounted on the little pod.

I have made a temporary dashboard to mount the switches until the real dash is fitted

The minimal wiring can now be connected to the DigiDash-2 console.

Take note of the display setting. There is a road and track option. If you select the road option, this is for IVA pass as the speedo must always be displayed and you can't get much else to display.

Select track option (option 1, I seem to recall) to get a meaningful display.

For seatbelts, I have used Willans Supersport 4 point Caterham harness from Merlin Motorsport.

And here we are.

The switches on the dash are a main ignition on switch with a red cover and a second switch which is the engine kill switch.

Start up is to put the main ign switch on when you when you will hear the water pump running. Then switch on the kill switch and you will hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds.

Press the black starter button, select 1st gear and enjoy.
